Giday and welcome Holger ...just wondered why you got 750 transfers on your side covers ? ....nice machineHello, I am Holger from Germany and I'd like to introduce myself before I ask stupid questions in bad english in this forum. Showing some pics of my Mk3 seems to be the right way:

I bought the bike two month ago and did some modifications:
Keyless central control unit, switches and clocks from Motogadget installed.
Lithium battery, 3 phase alternator and open type MOSFET Shindengen type regulator.
Prepared a connection for a Koso lambda probe.
Fitted the Lansdowne dampers and Ikons on the rear.
Removed the kickstart lever - it annoyed me, my feet are to big.
I am planning a twin disks conversation...
This seems to be not so easy, as we have strange regulations here.
As you know, the 850 are for old man, rockers ride 750;-))Giday and welcome Holger ...just wondered why you got 750 transfers on your side covers ? ....nice machine
Hi Eddie,Hello Holger and welcome.
It seems from your post above that your written English is better than that from many English speakers !
Nice bike, and nice mods so far. As Gortniper says, the single Brembo disc from cNw or hNw really is good.
I have a question for you, what handle bars do you have? They look good.
Hi Eddie,
it is a A01 from LSL, it is made of Aluminium.
Velcome mateAs you know, the 850 are for old man, rockers ride 750;-))
Seriously: I bought the bike with this covers.
Hi Mike,Holger,
Nice looking motorcycle. I have 2 questions
Who makes your twist grip and not to sound ignorant but what is a Koso lambda probe?
I also like the Moto Gadget accessories you have used. They make some nice units.
Mike
The twist grip is a common type used on Speedway bikes, Joker, Venhill and Gasser come to mind but there are many others too. Beware some are fast action.Hi Mike,
sorry, I do not know the maker of the twist grip, it was already on the bike.
Holler,Hi Mike,
sorry, I do not know the maker of the twist grip, it was already on the bike.
For jetting the (older mens) VM 34 carb, for me (an older man (see post #2,251)) it seemed to be more comfortable to see the a/f ratio on a display, than to unscrew the Spark plugs several times. When I bought the bike, there was a 280 main jet installed. With the 260 I have a a/f ratio 13.3 at full throttle wich should be ok.
The Koso probe is not a wide band type, but it shows numbers from 12.2 to 17. So for me it works fine, and it is relatively cheap.
On the first picture you can see the nut for the probe at the right exhaust manifold in the 120° bend.

I fitted a quick action throttle to my fj1200 rigid chop it made it rather lively off the line with 130bhp and weighing just over 400lb !The twist grip is a common type used on Speedway bikes, Joker, Venhill and Gasser come to mind but there are many others too. Beware some are fast action.

Your front stanchion "tell tale", was that before or after the ride?Tried the flat bars on risers today, not bad.
Have some of Holgers LSL bars on the way to try next.
