Access Norton Motorcycle Forums and the Access Norton website are operated by Access Norton LLC ("Access Norton", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms and Rules govern your use of accessnorton.com and the forums, resources, classifieds, media, memberships, and other services and features we provide (collectively, the "Service").
This Service is intended for users age 13 and older. By registering for or using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years old.
User Content
User-generated Content represents the views of its author and not necessarily the views of Access Norton LLC. All content you submit, upload, post, link to, or otherwise make available through the Service ("Content") may be reviewed by staff members and may be processed by third-party services used to operate, secure, moderate, distribute, or promote the Service. Do not submit Content that you consider private or confidential to publicly accessible areas of the Service.
You agree not to submit or link to Content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, hateful, threatening, harassing, spam or spam-like, obscene, intentionally misleading, infringes another person's copyright, intellectual property, or privacy rights, contains another person's private information without permission, encourages unlawful activity, or otherwise violates these terms or applicable law.
We may review, moderate, move, restrict, or remove Content when reasonably necessary to administer the Service, enforce these terms, protect users, or comply with applicable law. Members may edit or delete their own Content only as permitted by the features, permissions, and time limits provided by the Service.
License to Content You Post
You retain ownership and copyright in Content that you create and submit. By submitting, uploading, posting, or otherwise making Content available through the Service, you grant Access Norton LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, display, publish, re-publish, distribute, excerpt, format, adapt, and promote that Content in connection with Access Norton and the Service.
This license includes the right to display, distribute, syndicate, or promote Content through Access Norton websites, RSS or other content feeds, email communications, newsletters, social-media accounts, mobile applications, and third-party platforms or services used to operate, distribute, publicize, or promote Access Norton.
Content that may be shared or syndicated includes forum posts, photographs, images, media, classified advertisements, resource submissions, reviews, comments, titles, excerpts, and links. This may occur automatically. For example, publicly visible Content may be automatically published or excerpted on an Access Norton social-media account, including Facebook, together with a link to the original Content.
We will not intentionally use private conversations, private messages, passwords, email addresses, IP addresses, payment information, or other private account information as promotional social-media Content.
Removal of Content from the Service does not necessarily remove copies that were previously distributed, syndicated, cached, archived, quoted, or published through third-party services.
Copyright
You may only submit Content that you own or have the necessary rights or permission to use. You must not upload photographs, text, media, or other material that infringes another person's copyright or other intellectual-property rights.
Classifieds and Member Transactions
Access Norton may provide classified advertising or other facilities allowing members to communicate regarding motorcycles, parts, products, or services. Access Norton LLC is not a party to transactions between members unless expressly stated otherwise. Buyers and sellers are responsible for evaluating listings, verifying items, communicating safely, arranging payment and delivery, and resolving disputes.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, condition, authenticity, ownership, legality, availability, safety, or suitability of anything advertised, sold, purchased, exchanged, or otherwise offered by a user.
Paid Memberships
Access Norton may offer optional paid membership upgrades, including Full Member access. The applicable price, billing period, and membership benefits are displayed at the time of purchase. Paid membership provides access to designated features and benefits while the membership remains active.
Membership payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. If a membership is offered on a recurring basis, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the payment method you selected at the stated renewal interval until the subscription is cancelled.
You may cancel a recurring membership using the cancellation method provided for the applicable payment provider. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not normally terminate access for a membership period that has already been paid for. Membership benefits generally remain available until the end of the current paid period.
Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise, membership payments are non-refundable.
Access Norton LLC may change membership prices, benefits, features, eligibility requirements, or availability from time to time. Changes to recurring subscription pricing will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the requirements of the applicable payment provider.
A paid Access Norton membership provides access to website features and services only. It does not create any ownership interest, voting right, partnership, membership interest, or other legal or financial interest in Access Norton LLC.
Information and Advice
Information posted through the Service may be incomplete, incorrect, outdated, or unsuitable for your particular circumstances. User-generated information should not be treated as professional advice.
Motorcycle repair, maintenance, modification, electrical, mechanical, riding, health, legal, financial, or other information obtained through the Service is used at your own risk. You are responsible for determining whether information is appropriate and safe before acting upon it.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Access Norton LLC is not responsible for losses, damages, injuries, disputes, or other consequences resulting from user-generated Content, interactions between users, third-party services, transactions between users, or reliance upon information provided through the Service.
Third-Party Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites and may integrate with third-party services, including payment processors, email providers, analytics services, spam-prevention services, automation services, and social-media platforms.
Access Norton LLC is not responsible for the content, security, availability, privacy practices, policies, or operation of third-party websites or services.
Accounts and Service Availability
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password and for activity occurring through your account. You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account, the Service, or systems connected to the Service.
We may suspend or terminate access to all or part of the Service when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect the Service or its users, address abuse or security issues, or comply with applicable law.
We do not guarantee that the Service, any particular feature, or any Content will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or preserved indefinitely. Features may be added, changed, restricted, suspended, or discontinued at our discretion.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Updated terms become effective when posted unless otherwise stated. Continued use of the Service after updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
