Access Norton has thousands of discussions dating back many years. When images or image links are hosted elsewhere, they can later disappear, move, expire, become blocked, or be replaced with unrelated content and annoying advertising. That damages old discussions, makes useful technical information incomplete, and has become increasingly difficult to moderate and clean up.

I have neen doing a major clean-up of years of broken and missing third-party images. Thousands of old image references have had to be reviewed, repaired, removed, or replaced so older discussions remain readable.

The goal is simple: preserve the forum and keep its information useful for the long term.

For that reason, images and links from selected third-party image-hosting providers are blocked. This includes embedded images as well as ordinary links that lead to those providers.

Whenever possible, please upload images directly to Access Norton so they remain with the discussion.

What if you host images on your own server?

If you run your own website or image server and the images are intended to remain available long-term, contact me and the domain can be considered for the allow list.
