Yes, the rim is an 18" WM3. Tire is an Avon Roadrider 110/90.

I wonder too! How one can submit a picture of their bike to Access Norton site. I have looked thinking that I am missing some link on the site that would allow me to do so. It seems some members can submit in their replies but I don't how they do it?
 
If you want the site to host/store your uploaded image, then you need to make a payment to become a VIP member. Otherwise you can link to an image hosted somewhere else (like PBASE.com...PhotoBucket has a new policy that block image linking under their free accounts).

Just joined the forum. Above photo is of me, back in the day aboard my Triton. (Note the chopped Commando front end, drum brake and AMC/Commando trans-- used an AJS kicker that was superior to Norton-factory.) Dig the Dresda seat! Note also, the tools attached to the utility belt. How we were bikers, back then.

Served as a Norton mechanic decades ago. Bought my first Commando in 1978. Have owned roadsters, a PR replica and a JPN replica. Have 920 competition experience, from 30 years ago. Perhaps I can be of use to this forum.

latest build, belt drive x 2, cNw elec start, 5 speed left side shift (not MK3) alloy fuel and oil tanks, crankshaft mounted ignition,
Electronic gauges, 320mm front x 200mm rear brakes, Maney 750 cylinders, Wassell Evo carbs with,single cable kit. custom alloy
fork yokes, etc etc
 
wel that was my intention but the bodgie outfit in the UK (a mail order repair company) stuffed them up and I'm out of pocket $500 so I had another set done by Brook suspensions in the UK Titanium Nitride coating, excellent service .
 
Don, that is quite a nice looking special. Wish you hadn't cropped the left end of the photo tho...
