My old MK 3, low milage, only 7k miles, I first spotted it in the 1980's parked up in a collection and it stuck in my mind, a few years back I was looking for a project to do with my dad, he had Dementia and I was his carer, when this turned up still owned by the family that had the collection. So it was bought and recommissioned then I started to realise that low milage bikes are pretty pointless as you can't really use them without ruining its low milage feature. Still it was an OK bike, I still prefer 750's

Got it ready for summer! Nice ride out and it’s running perfectly. Since I restored it in 2012, had hardly any issues. Most work done on it is upgrades. I just removed the Shorai batteries and put a AGM in, turned into quite a major rewire. Fun to ride.

Nigel, after the last 2 weeks travelling, ultimately I’d do as you and have both. I’m with a couple on an Interstate and not having either range anxiety or filling up every 100-125 miles a huge benefit. Having said that I’ve not had any issues with E5 availability bar 1 fill with E10 which caused no problems

Looks wise I prefer the Roadster but still like the Int nonetheless. Not sure how the extra weight would effect the handling though but to be fair I’ve far more than an extra 25L behind me and can still attack the switchbacks😁
