One of my 750's looks just like that, same barrels and timing cover makes it look like an 850.... or is that an 850 engine and 750 side panel?
I like those silver barrels...
Dig the mudflap. I had one on my '75 Interstate...
I put it on the help keep shite off the frame and engine front. Also, have heard the old wives tale of how a front flap can help prevent a nail from impaling in the rear tire. Some 20k miles on this bike seem to suggest its working.Dig the mudflap. I had one on my '75 Interstate...
Does the anti wet sump plunger work ?It’s a 750, with 850 style barrels and a Mk3 850 timing cover.
Mine is of a similar build and it still wet sumps, new oil pump as well.Does the anti wet sump plunger work ?
A handy tip which I must try for myself, cheers Rob@Shep57 & @daveforty , do you guys kick your bikes to TDC when you park it up? Getting the pistons (rods) right up there seems to help.
I have found it slows the rate a fair bit - 2 weeks and only a third of the high-low range on the dipstick.
Cheers
I haven't knowingly done that, but I see why it is worth doing. A (late) new years resolution....@Shep57 & @daveforty , do you guys kick your bikes to TDC when you park it up? Getting the pistons (rods) right up there seems to help.

You're famous!I’ve always loved the month of May as it usually means, in the UK at least, the start of some warmer weather. We’ve been lucky again this year though as April has been good again.
Anyway, here’s another reason for me to like May this year.
