Pictures of your Norton Commandos

I have a few, but this is the latest off of the 'bench' (when I say bench I mean front porch!!!) It's had a few owners since the last guy that loved it, sadly passed away, and it came to me a few months back in a sorry state of assembly. I always fancied making an Interback, so here it is, it was a recommission really not my normal restoration job, the bones were too good to strip it with no cause. 69 750 'Interback'

This 71 750, came to me as a cafe racer with a destroyed engine than had sat beside the sea for a decade or more, it was a nice project that went smoothly considering the challenges faced.

I like those silver barrels... 👍
What exhaust system is that? Looks stainless (no blueing)
Cheers
Thanks. The original ones would have been silver when the bike was new, December 1971, although the ones in this picture were bought not too long ago as they are the 750 bolt through 850 style ones from Andover Norton. The exhaust is Standard as far as I am aware. It’s been on there for as long as I have had it which is just over ten years. Regarding the blueing, White Diamond is your friend.

@Shep57 & @daveforty , do you guys kick your bikes to TDC when you park it up? Getting the pistons (rods) right up there seems to help.
I have found it slows the rate a fair bit - 2 weeks and only a third of the high-low range on the dipstick.
Cheers
