The colour, Fireflake Silver, is interesting. It is listed as a colour in the spares list for 1969 and Mortons archive has two pictures which appear to show a light metalflake finsh on these bikes. However I've yet to find a period colour photo to confirm for certain. [Broken Link Removed]
I used the Silver metalflake panels on Tony Denniss' Red/Silver bike at Andover Norton as a reference as I suspect the fibreglass used was the same.
