Good news and bad news

Hi there,
The good news: last friday I was able to put my leg over the Sunburst without help and to put my feet on the footrests, so it appears the bike is not yet ready to ride but I am!
I did a lot of work on the Seeley during the last days; I will ask Jagbruno to take some pics soon.
I hope that the bike will be ready by the end of next week.
Now the bad news: last friday I was supposed to go to the hospital for a chirurgical intervention on my wounded knee, but they called me the day before to say that I first must go to my heart specialist.
Second bad news : yesterday I was supposed to go to court for my accident trial, unfortunately it has also been delayed until the end of june.
This isn’t too bad compared with the joy to know that I will be able to ride a bike again in a very short time!
Keep you posted
Yves

I hope you mange to get mounted soon. I've been having beautiful riding weather here, though rather windy this past month.
Be cautious when you do ride for there are ignorant folks on the road with you.

Hi Yves

do you have a deadline to have it ready ? say like Chimay or Gedinne .
i did see your bike last year on sunday afternoon in Chimay.
are you making it to this event this year ?

Regards Eldert

Hi Eldert
My deadline is ASAP, probably within two weeks.
The problem is that I can only work 3 or max 4 hours a day, the pain in my leg dont allow me more time in the workshop
I will be at Chimay and Gedinne for sure
See you there
Regards
Yves

Looking forward To Jagbruno's photos. Good luck in court and with that knee of yours. Cj

in my neck of the woods ~ 30 yrs ago, it took ~ 5 yrs to settle in court, they may offer u from peanuts to a substantial amount in that time..

the advice i got was the other side would use anything i say & do against me, including watching & filming what i did or did not do, like even cutting the grass or taking out the garbage,

not to mention talking to my neighbors about my activities,

surveillance capabilities these days are on another level..

i was even instructed 'not to ride again until settling in court' cos they will/can make the argument 'can't be that bad cos you're back on a bike'

then u can also find out that required medical procedures can involve other hoops & loops to settle first, or no dice

ymmv
