Speedy recovery Yves. I hope the driver of the car is being made to care for his wife ( or at least pay for it) whilst he recovers.

Get mended soon Yves. You are the archetype of the diehard motorcyclist. The world needs you.

Very sad indeed, hope he gets better quickly. Unfortunately an all to common an occurrence. My thoughts are with his family ,it must be a struggle at the best of times and they could well do without this worry.

Same thoughts as everyone else has posted, hope all ends well best wishes on a good and healthy recovery.

Hello everybody, I am afraid Wednesday's news are not as good as we were hoping for. When awake, Yves is under a lot of pain and his condition remains extremely critical. He underwent surgery Wednesday afternoon to reduce his femur displacement, but could not have a hip prothesis installed for the moment as his heart would not be strong enough to withstand such heavy surgery. But he is a fighter. Please continue to send positive energy to our dear friend, I will receive fresh news this evening and will post them when I do.
Thank you again on both Yves and Marina's behalf for your invaluable support, they are immensely grateful to each of you.

Bruno

Wishing Yves all the best. Just reading his posts indicates what kind of guys he is, can’t imagine what he is like in person. Could probably spend hours just talking to him. Heal quickly Yves.

Just logged on to the forum and saw this post. Been super busy this week with rigging flight controls on one of the Army's Blackhawks here, and receiving my household goods shipment. Sorry for the delay Bruno, but please let Yves know he has folks here in Japan wishing him a swift recovery. Get well soon brother!

I've just got my internet back after four days or so only to hear this tragic story. I hope things turn out for you Yves. I've been there. Not a nice place to be. All the best.

Bruno, please pass on our hopes for a full recovery from Ralph and Georgina, we will see him next year at Chimay.

Best Wishes, Yves. hoping for the best for both you and your wife. [HASHTAG]#YvesStrong[/HASHTAG]
