Took a short ride out with a friend who’s just completed a rebuild of his bike he’s owned since he was 18. Has the original annular discharge black cans still going (although one’s a bit rattlely now) meaning when in front of me I couldn’t hear him at all🤣🤣🤣

@Shep57 & @daveforty , do you guys kick your bikes to TDC when you park it up? Getting the pistons (rods) right up there seems to help.
I have found it slows the rate a fair bit - 2 weeks and only a third of the high-low range on the dipstick.

I haven't knowingly done that, but I see why it is worth doing. A (late) new years resolution....
