Yes - it is a Corbin Gunfighter. I put my stock seat back on and have the Corbin for sale on Ebay. If anyone is interested... I prefer the stock 750 saddle.

Well guess it's my turn

It's a pain.
Coming from a corner killing Honda RVF to this beast has been an experience.
And the side stand is only making the ride more exciting
The spring is starting to slack, so I have replace it or the entire side stand. I don't know yet. It's gonna be a winter project (which is soon. The weather in Denmark is appalling at the moment).

I like the I'State tank mods. Did you do that? Reminescent of a ZRX tank...
I didn't do it myself. I'm not what you would call a handyman - I'm all thumbs.
The first picture was taken the day I bought "Black Betty".

Hi
Finally completed my Seeley Mk2.
Donnington was not an auspitious occasion. It could only happen to me but I got knocked off in the paddock by a Landrover!
Spent the day in Queens hospital Nottingham. Very nice it was as well. Just not where I wanted to be!
Snetterton last week resulted in the bike eating the Quaife gearbox. Fair enough as it is one of the very first Commando 5 speed boxes (no spares)
The final race at Cadwell Park October 9/10 The CRMCC race of the year & I am trying to build up a 4 speed box! 3 weeks to go.
all the best Chris

Wow Chris, I'm awfully impressed with the flash of your Commando powered orange racer and the out the blue fates when on 2 wheels even when not rolling.
Comforting in strange way, hoping this stuff does only happen to you.

That tank looks a LOT like the one I have on my café racer, does it say "REG MOULDINGS" on the underside?

Your bike looks great, I love that tank you have on.

The Union Jack tank is stashed away at the moment, so I can't check if it says "REG MOULDINGS", but I've wondered what kind of tank it is. BTW it's not in great shape, but still kinda cool.

Hi Willh

I think the previous owner had a modern powder coater send him a brochure! The frames he had done included the bright orange,
a beautiful candy apple green, metallic silver, candy apple red & a pearlecent blue.
The more I put the bike togeather the more I liked it. I did take a lot of ribbing at Donnington as we had a lot of European & Scandanavian riders racing with us. Lots of are you from Hollond cracks. Although it is not a colour I would have chosen. The fairing etc is stock white, however I am not sure when or if I will fit it, as I like people to see the bike & I'm not going to win anything!
Hobot I know what you mean, if its happening to someone else its not happening to you.
Chris

ps at Darley Moor we had an American racing a Honda K4 that he had built for him in England. Prior to him taking it back home.

Yes Chris, your post gives me mixed feelings, one the joy to see the beauty and excesses others have accomplished, two the depression to try to match or exceed whats already been done, or avoid what's happened to others.

My wives's have been like this, nice enough I've little temptation to mess with other half naked women in my clinic because I like the performance and views of what's at home better. Same with Ms Peel, once matured, I hope.

Bad ass images Chris I've filed to keep me a bit restless trying to drift off to sleep.

If I ever get a 2nd commando I'm getting a drum brake. Think they look better

Drums are just COOL n OLD SKOOL ! 8)

The Double-Actuating Rods on mine is an amazing idea for its age..

I have heard reports that RGM has some pads for the front drum brakes that really improve it. Also have heard that making the shoes contact the whole drum helps a lot too. Something for me to try in the future.
