Well, I would agree with your thinking too, but for some, when they successfully beat off the Grim Reaper, they realize how fleeting life is and then have a need to live the remainder of their life on the limit. I believe that if you can throw a leg over a bike, then go for it, and enjoy yourself, whether you're 20 or 120.
Cheers to your buddy.
Wholeheartedly agree BT - it’s important to have the right attitude towards ageing 🤣 !

I was just hoping that he would slow down, so that I can keep up!! No chance of that on the Norton methinks!

Life is too short to slow down and just give up Steven. Live it to the fullest as you can.
Wise words V2D3 - I’m out riding mine every chance I get. Can you remember where you‘ve parked yours🤣?

Interestingly, I had amassed 11 points on my licence (all on the bike - 12 is license loss) before I started riding with Andy. We ride pretty hard but luckily, he has an inner radar that is freakish - can’t remember the number of times he’s saved me from points. Passed two speed traps yesterday alone, over a 200km distance - on my own I’d doubtless have been copped. We got warning of the first from an oncoming biker but for the other he just slowed - no warning and we cruised on past. I’ve given up asking him how he always seems to know:oops:!

He’s 55 Kg wet through - when he lights up his 220 Hp hyper bike I’m gonna need more than a supercharger and an aggressive riding intent to keep up!!

Thanks Tony.
No they will not and I’m not going to tip over🙃
I can put a folding pegs any day as most aftermarket pegs are connected with an M8 bolts…
Folding pegs would be a good solution. What I want to get installed is folding footpegs that have the vibration absorbing rubber foot pads also. But I see what you have done is cut off the folding part and drill and tap for 8mm bolt .
