All in the wheel and tires? Then had a bit more of a play with the scales. Compared my build, albeit with no fuel in the tank, against a standard Dominator SS.
What about exhaust?Well, I suppose every little helps.
Single clock, single clock mount, chopped any of the wiring harness that wasn't needed and rewrapped, airbox and filter gone in place of light weight intake trumpets, Tab ii Classics tank which is noticeably lighter than Nortons aluminium tank, lighter indicators, lighter headlight bracket, and quite a bit of titanium. Front mudguard will be heavier than the standard carbon one though. My number boards will also have a bit more weight to them than the standard cheese grater side plates. They'll also be a little weight saving in the drivechain, as that's quite a fancy one.
Are you still having a new exhaust made of stainless or chrome steel?Currently the same as what is on the SS ie megaphones.....although mine does have baffles and packing.
One step closer to Ti…Gone off chrome now...
I vote for TitaniumGone off chrome now...probably for the best lol.
But yes, still having an exhaust made. Need to email him actually, as this msva inspection has suddenly come up.
I’ll pitch in. You provide a lot of information to the forum. It's very generous of you guys to pay for a titanium exhaust for my bike, and I graciously accept your generosity![]()
Excellent marketing strategy!.... I stole one of the Carol Nash girls, sat her on a Dominator and watched blokes take notice![]()
No wonder, that looks bloody awesome !!Literally just picked up from Dream Machine...I'm like a kid at ChristmasJust need to carefully give the aluminium a buff up, which I'll do this evening once I've dropped it back on the bike.
