Pictures of your Norton 961

Ok, standard euro 3 wheel with tyre and wheel spindle. Adding this picture here for my future reference.
Saved over 2kg there....thats a good unsprung saving, and a very good rotational mass saving.
Got to pull my finger out on this, as last week I got my msva date through, March 13th.

Downing tools on customers bikes was a much need break tbh. I started in there at 7am today, playing catch-up...needed some me time.

Then had a bit more of a play with the scales. Compared my build, albeit with no fuel in the tank, against a standard Dominator SS.

Well, I suppose every little helps.
Single clock, single clock mount, chopped any of the wiring harness that wasn't needed and rewrapped, airbox and filter gone in place of light weight intake trumpets, Tab ii Classics tank which is noticeably lighter than Nortons aluminium tank, lighter indicators, lighter headlight bracket, and quite a bit of titanium. Front mudguard will be heavier than the standard carbon one though. My number boards will also have a bit more weight to them than the standard cheese grater side plates. They'll also be a little weight saving in the drivechain, as that's quite a fancy one.

What about exhaust?

Currently the same as what is on the SS ie megaphones.....although mine does have baffles and packing.

Gone off chrome now...probably for the best lol.
But yes, still having an exhaust made. Need to email him actually, as this msva inspection has suddenly come up.

Not my bike. In fact, can’t even see the Norton:oops:!

Not sure that you could classify the Norton as a ‘fast date’ anyway!!

The last picture was actually my first show working for Norton. The stand wasn't getting much attention at Stafford, so I stole one of the Carol Nash girls, sat her on a Dominator and watched blokes take notice 😂
