Can someone post pics of the wheel hub area of a ABS wheel please.
That backs up what Norton said.I spoke to BST directly when I bought my wheels. Only one style available and one of the qualifying questions was ‘does the bike have abs?’. I think the key issue is the mounting of the abs ring. It’s probably a solvable issue...just not by bst. At that point, there was a huge question over if Norton would even make the commando...and would anyone honestly bother given the highly limited market potential vs making wheels for a bike that is at least in volume production? Modifying a wheel to be compatible with a bike with extremely limited production and where the market potential is literally 10’s of Sets of wheels is hardly an enticing financial prospect. I’d also be surprised if BST enter into any meaningful dialogue with someone, even if they really really want to buy a single pair of abs compatible wheels.
I’m not near the bike today but I have these on my phone. That backs up what Norton said.
But doesn’t explain it !
IFAIK, the only difference to the wheel hub area for ABS is the addition of a thin stainless steel sensor trigger disc mounted outboard of the disc on the front wheel, and I can’t recall where on the rear wheel.
If someone could post close up shots of the ABS trigger disc on their front and rear wheels, maybe we can work this out…
My mate Jonathan tried this and found that the trigger wheels would not fit correctly. They fitted, but kinda 'bulged' out in the center. I think it's solvable, but might need a custom ring and potentially the sensor location adjusting. I can say it's not a direct 'bolt the rings on and you are good to go' deal. BUT Jonathan is the only person who I know of has tried it..others might find a different experience. That backs up what Norton said.

That Zard exhaust looks great. Here is my 2016 Norton 961 MKii. Always wanted the upside down forks and cafe bar model, but it's hard to find MKii in California due to a lot of them being 49 state motorcycles. Still the prettiest bike I own.
Can we see a picture of the left side of the bike too please. Here is my 2016 Norton 961 MKii. Always wanted the upside down forks and cafe bar model, but it's hard to find MKii in California due to a lot of them being 49 state motorcycles. Still the prettiest bike I own.
Here’s mine with the Zards titanium.View attachment 103849
Same map as with the open megaphones. No need to remove to drain oil.Which EFI map are you using?
Any drive chain interference issues with these pipes?
Looks like the pipes are spring retained, so you can remove the pipes to drain oil.
It was posted on Linked In today that they are about to start delivering them …Does anyone know whether any V4s have been sold yet?
Good, at least now we'll get some idea of the V4's popularity with customers. It was posted on Linked In today that they are about to start delivering them …
Saved over 2kg there....thats a good unsprung saving, and a very good rotational mass saving.Ok, standard euro 3 wheel with tyre and wheel spindle. Adding this picture here for my future reference.
