Quick 120 km hinterland mid-week blast today, to try and get the new shoes fully scrubbed in!

Out - fat boy breakfast - back! Home in time for tea and medals!

Have you ever repolished those cases, or is that just regular maintenance?

And, how can you be so good at detail on a bike, yet get your finger in the top of the shot?

Finger, no, that’s the edge of a cleaning cloth! Do you not take your full detailing kit with you when you go riding!? 😄

Engine cases just get a good seeing too with Autosol occasionally. Next time I have them off then I’ll get them polished professionally - have a local guy that does a pretty good job. Same goes for sections of the top yoke and raised sections of the peg hangers. Don’t wanna go too far with the cleaning and polishing thing - people may think that I have a problem:oops:!

My favourite motorcycle by far…

Upgrades include full titanium Zard 2:1, carbon wheels, numerous ti bolts, carbon front mudguard, rear licence plate holder, hugger and chain guard, and finally Brembo PRS adjustable leverage (not span) radial clutch and brake masters. I’ve tracked this and it runs very well.
Like the unique paint job with tail flag and I’ll bet that Zard sounds sweet - great that you left the bluing on as well; accidentally removed mine! Gold chain too 🤔! All the better if it’s been fettled by Sir Stu. May have Stu kidnapped, smuggled to Aus and chained up next to my Norton with his toolkit - does that sound creepy!? It’s ok. If he did a good job I‘d let the chain reach my beer fridge!

Any noticeable difference with the 2 into 1?

I think Stuart knows if he ever came near Devon he’d be locked up in my garage. 🤭

Tyre swap on mine today....Dunlop TT100. Love the look of it!

Ahh shit, yeah you're right. This was Ron's bike, Ive worked on them both. He loved his Norton, but unfortunately a bike crash, on another bike, saw him lose a leg....which resulted in the Norton being sold. It used to have a white headlamp and white mudguard too.

Is that a ZR rated radial ? Not like the old one and are these Dunlops ? I can't seem to find them on the Dunlop tire website.
