Wonder if anyone stressed over the performance of the Qualifiers that the 961's came with....as those things were pretty damn terrible
Agreed, swapped mine out immediately - no way I was putting those things on the carbon wheels. They are sat on an axle suspended atop stands in my garage. Although they date back to 2016/17 I was surprised just how rock hard they have gone. Can’t even mark them with a fingernail!

Smokin‘ bike no doubt - love the modern angle! Also the modern take on the open face lid. Did we ever have a gear thread?

Thanks!

The helmet is Caberg Flyon full carbon.
A very good helmet, the best I ever checked and a beautiful one as well!

Thanks!
All Dominators are the same, mine is not the SS so only difference is that it comes with the gold fork and titanium metallic color fuel tank.

Other than this I did some aesthetic/modernizing upgrades:
I took out the unnecessary canister with all its shit and pipes.
Also took out the unnecessary stupid oil catch bottle with all its stupid pipes.
Clean and shined the air box from the inside and it will stay shining and clean from oil for ever.

I changed the clip ons to these, what is good about them other than the fact that they are the most clean and durable clip ons ever made is that you can adjust the angle from straight to 5 degrees when ever you want by just opening the screw… Crazy clip ons!

I turned the handle throttle upside down so the cables will be down to clean the top as well.

I put on Rizoma reservoirs with their black flat brackets to lower them down.
I took the NOTCH model, and I took the clutch ones which are smaller for both sides, it changed the whole look of the bike.

Replaced the grips to the Rizoma rubber ones, the best grips on the planet by far and very clean and beautiful as well.

The LED headlight insert I put is also a real show… it is a universal plug and play 7” LED insert (any aftermarket Jeep Wrangler one will fit).
It can be found on eBay. Just need to make sure to order the quality one. They all look the same but most are shit.

I replaced the torpedos indicators with the Motogadget blaze ones. The best and smallest indicators on the planet.
These indicators have an 8mm thread so I screwed them right into the headlight instead of the screws that holding it. It came out crazy clean.
Photo attached.

I replaced the rear light with this rear Red brake light light.

The results are amazing, the front is clean and modern and the whole bike looks 100 times better and modern(in my opinion).

I’m happy to supply more information if anyone interested to upgrade is own Domi or Commando(these upgrades fits both).
Mine is not the SS either but I have black forks and black triple trees. My cylinders are also black and rear shock spring.
I must dump the evap canister also some day.

Getting cold now here in the UK. Too damp and icy at the moment but when its fresh and dry, nothing better that getting the 961 out for a country blast. Can't beat having some of these bad boys installed to make the ride bearable in between coffee shops and bacon and egg baps

I installed the Motogadget Blaze Pin front and rear indicators long time ago, this rear brake light is also indicators but I didn’t connect it as I like the Motogadget indicators, they are the smallest, strongest and best indicators all around ever made.
For the front I installed them straight to the headlight and nut it from inside the headlight and it came out absolutely amazing and very clean.
Photos attached, indicators are at the size of a nail, you can hardly see them…
Looks very clean. I’m a Rizoma fan myself but Motogadget make some great stuff also.

Bit more done.... I'll push on with this build over Christmas. Aluminium tank is currently at Dream Machine, so just dropped a spare plastic one on so she didnt look so sad in the workshop.

Ok, this is pretty exciting for me and I think it's really going to make my build pop out. My intake trumpet parts have arrived from Fastec Racing. These were produced to 72 Motorcycles cad drawings, with Jamies permission. I just need some 45 degree aluminium tubing to link them up.
£500 well spent? Dont know yet...see how it looks finished 🙈
