Burnt a valve near Seattle, road it home. The wrist pin clip came out and rubbed against the cylinder wall. Found a replacement motor at the Rose Bowl motorcycle swap meet('75). Somewhere if bike is still running, no matching engine.

Started him today. Now, gotta fix the stripped fork oil drain plug threads. Ugh!

That's a splendid job. It's obviously dripping in cNw kit, as is mine! But it's money well spent IMHO. I have yet to receive something from Matt that I'm less than 101% happy with!
I particularly like your silver frame. Wish I'd done mine silver now!
Do keep us posted as you put on the miles woncha?

Well, it's not that I don't polish my bikes often, but when I gave the Norton its seasonal polish today the Missus shouts across "are you selling that one then"...!

Anyway, I thought it looked rather spiffing when I'd finished, so took a pic for y'all.

Changes since last time inc the cNw front brake set up. And the cNw rear sets. As usual, Matts kit is sublime. The rearsets are perfectly located and the footpeg to gear lever relationship give a really nice change too.

Good weather forecast so I'll try and put a few miles on it today / tomorrow...

Thanks. That's Ned. He's a Rhodesian Ridgeback and you're right, he's a very nice dog great with the kids, seriously scary with unidentified strangers!
 
Nice pooch. Has the WTF are you looking at face on.

Bike is definitely shiny! If you don't want anything for it, I'll pop over and collect tomorrow. 10ish OK... get the kettle on.

The dog is most likely confused by the bright light up in the sky given he's in England. Bike looks great, color looks like what is on my 72.

Being too lazy to search the forum, what kickstart is that? I'm guessing the T150. How well does it clear the peg? I'd like to go the rearset route on my Interstate, but, being strictly kick start, I need to know that it's as simple as flicking the starter out without any other monkey motion. btw, very nice polish job, and the sun really makes that blue pop! How about a package deal on the bike and dog? Having nothing but little dogs running around my ankles just doesn't seem very manly...

It's an RGM T160 kickstart Nathan. Which is a T160 kickstart lever on RGMs own knuckle. It's longer than stock who help with the kicking. It clears everything well on my bike. Also when fitted with stock pegs.

Hi, no pictures posted for a while so here is my 850 made for me by Holland Norton Works. It is in standard tune, fully rebuilt with a lot of new parts and goes very well. And has the CNW electric stater, which is very good. I also have the CNW Brembo front brake but have it not yet fitted as licensing such things as a good brake is a unbelievable nightmare drama in Switzerland. However it could be i forget to take it off after i check it fits as i am underwhelmed bythe Standard brake.

I built this 72 Interstate up out of parts, Plan was to be 100% original but couldnt help myself and fitted stainless spokes,Trispark,Amal Premiers and one of my front brake kits. Just finished the build and yep 1st kick
