Thanks for the nice comment. The tank is an RGM item .The engine /gearbox mount is stock, it is just painted to match the frame color. I bought the tank off Ebay from a fellow in British Columbia, with shipping I paid $585. It's made for a Commando and fits beautifully. I'm going sand it all the way to 2000 grit before polishing and buffing it. As a life long Triumph guy this Norton project has been a nice change of pace.

Chris, that looks to be the best use of the bike.

How is it, you just lay on top of the tank bag? Don't fall asleep!

Hi Grandpaul! hehehe....no, I never fall asleep...lucky me!
the bag just fits between me and the bike, it doesn`t bother the riding.
but it`s kind of comfortable to lay the chin on the bag when you are on a long distance run.

have a nice day!

Amend to the big ole tank bag, blocks a good bit of chest buffeting and head lain on it can fully relax and merge till just eye balls flowing into the futture with tubo fan smooth thrust and just a thought to steer miles and miles in trance. The one i have for fiber tank has padded straps that remind me of woman's whip and leather outfit, Once carried a rear drum from DynoDave amoung other stuff back from Ohio rally in it. Oh yeah chris I'd steal your eye candy red pinned stripped delight in flash.

hi!
seeing the clocks isn`t the problem....got good sight to them. getting off the bike is sometimes a problem.....when you are stiff from a long ride...
