the road home, a mile from my house

Yeah I really love that early Roadster look – beautiful! I have an 850 Interstate because mostly I want to cover miles, but given a big enough wallet and off-road, undercover storage, I'd have a 750 Roadster too!

Yea, they're Triumph bars. Long torso just couldn't handle the stock Commando handlebars. It was killing my back.

The Titanic, with '71 Roadster fiberglass until the steel tank and covers get painted.

Quite a change from this, about a year ago.

WOW! That's an excellent before & after study.

Today I was showing a bike shop owner in Daytona pics of the Titanic as it sits and I told him I wasn't as proud of it for what it it is but for what it was. P. Egan in the latest Cycle World said he had never heard of anyone throwing a Commando away. The Titanic is why.

Space in my garage is at a premium. Gotta move the hemi-powered '34 Ford sedan View attachment 3136 outa the way every time I drag the '74 out for a ride. Bought this new two weeks before my daughter was born in April of '74. Obviously, she'll inherit it (and being a former Marine, she wants it)

Nice bike! What age are your mufflers (Dunstalls?)? My girl's carrying her aftermarket Dunstalls from '75-76 that replaced the stock Interstate mufflers that rotted out within the first two years of her life.
