It's an honest question. I'm not trying to be a dick, if I were you'd know it. From the angle of the photos it appears that the letters was aligned with the top of the side covers. It's not that the bike doesn't look spectacular, I just couldn't see the side very well. How about some more pictures instead of flapping your gums?

Hey, all we old farts don't have the walnut bladders. Maybe walnut brains. I can go at least an hour to the next service station. Depends on what the last brew was. Besides all we see from down under is lots of bare feet and upside down on the dashboard too. No risk of ring worm there?

Was it you who did the pushin'
Put the stains upon the cushin'
Footprints on the dashboard upside down.

I think I've heard that somewhere before.

I suspect that hobot might have hacked DogT's account.

Hi Swooosh, you are correct he aligned the stickers with the top edge on my instructions, it would definately look better at the correct angle, but f&^% it, atleast now I can ride it !!!!!!!.

No problem, I was just wondering. The early side covers have a sharper angle.

To the others who replied to my question, well, suck it.

Well, if you must know the angle, here it is, at least for the 69-70.

Fantastic Josh. she looks like a bought one.
Congratulations.
Think of the honor of now owning a Norton Commando.
So on er you should get. Go and run it in, with photos of FNQ.
AC.

I've seen some ugly Nortons in my time and that damn sure ain't one of 'em. Polished aluminum and black paint still gets my attention after all these years.

Good job!

Mike

Bastard. Nice bike. Too bad it's owned by a real fsckhead.

Just kidding. :D

I'm just being a jealous a-hole. ;(

Perfect picture of a disapproving wife who's wondering if all the money spent on the bike would have bought a ring that would have got the same attention.

As luck would have it, that disapproving wife is not my disapproving wife, so happy days.

What's the deal with the BSA?

Not sure I understand the question, both the Commando and Golden Flash are mine, I had a mate ride the BSA on yesterdays trip ( no point in owning the bike if it sits in the shed ).

2 bikes !!!, you're not going to accuse me of being a rich silver spooner are you ? ( I recall your disdain for the guy that ordered the new Norton which had not been delivered :D )
