Hey , welcome. There are many really clever and experienced guys on this forum so you’re in the right place. Enjoy.Hello,
I am new at the forum and new on British motorcycles restoration. I just bought a Commando 850 MK3 Electric start that needs a good batch of hours to make it run.
I am 52 years old and after owning many bikes along the years I started four years ago to make my own cafe racer from a Ducati Sportclassic 2008, since the result was quite good I decided to restore myself a BMW R90/6 from 1975.
I become a classic bike passionate and now I look for a higher challenge.
I follow your forum since time ago and I find it fantastic, I hope to get a nice looking and fluid riding bike out of the Commando with a your help and advice.
I do not know how to post pictures of my restored bikes and of my actual Commando in not the best shape.
Nice hot rods! I have always been a BMW and Ducati fan but my Norton is my true love. And this is my classic bike last project, a BMW R90/6 from 1975 transformed into a bobber style and lighten 24kgs over original weight.
