Just got back from a run which was perfect, good starting, good reliable tick-over, and as far as I have been able to see no loss in power.
The idle was fixed with a n° 25 pilot jet (now I have my 1 1/2 turns out) and the flat spot with popping was fixed by adjusting the needle jet to position 2 counting from the bottom (n° 4 from the top) which richened the mixture in the middle of the throttle range.
I now have:
34 mm MKII 750 Roadster 1971 (std)
Main jet 270
Needle jet 2A1
Needle jet 106
Slide 3
Pilot jet 25
