Paul sent me a copy of his book about 18 months ago and I have finally finished it, I struggle to find time to read books but I get there in the end.

It seems that shortly after we have bought and sold a couple of bikes, changed a spark plug or two and managed to attend the odd bike related event, we become experts and often our friends are similar.

I takes years of experience and often mistakes to become an expert, occasionally, research can go some way to providing a shortcut and help reduce the mistakes we make.

Pauls book is easy to read and full of stuff that may, or may not be known, or forgotten, either way I think it is worth owning and access to somebodies years of experience could make owning old bikes more enjoyable.

Thanks Paul I enjoyed the book.

Thanx for the plug.

I have a dozen copies on hand for Christmas stocking stuffers.

I always buy bike books by members of the websites I frequent. GpZ's book is right alongside Ed Killar's "Nitrous Wars" on my desk.

Wow! Ed Killar was best man at my wedding in 1976. I used to modify tachs to add a shift light and also worked on a switching system for multiple nitrous bottles on his Z1. He gave me a book!

Ed had to give up riding after a stroke. He still pops up on ZZRBikes from time to time.
