I purchased from this US outfit.
They show " out of stock" at the moment

I had a ballistic battery on my 867 t150 with electric leg. It was fine until 3 weeks ago when for no reason it exploded and caught fire. I was very lucky to Rip it of the bike before I lost the bike.I’ll be testing the Shorai batteries even more soon Glen as I’ll be using one with an electric leg on my incredibly tough to turn over 920 !

Back to lead acid for me.
The commando is fitted with leds throughout, best thing I ever did.
Maybe, but I'd never use another Li battery, the risk outweighs the benefitsI wonder if that was one of the reasons Ballistic went out of business?

Bluey, yes I fit Shorai batteries due to the huge weight saving. Even more pertinently, on a 961, that battery weight is carried so high. Actually I have Shorai batteries fitted to all of my bikes.
Not sure it makes much real world difference, but I sleep better at night knowing I’m not carrying around a lead weight on my bikes!
So Bluey... you think the stock indicators are massive and bright? Well they’re certainly massive, probably cost 10mph due to aerodynamic loss.
But they’re not so bright. Check out my indicators below (if you can find them) they’re almost invisible when off, but MUCH brighter than stock when on...

Yes I was aware of the stories, but of course that happens to other people, it would never happen to me would it...........?Amen to that, don't/haven't they caught fire on occasion....?? right under your petrol tank on the norty.... sounds like a bad idea.
So... if one were mildly interested in said non visually existent but bright as the sun blazing directional indication devices... where would one find such amazing devices ???

Thanks;
Found and ordered these, as you say direct replacements. Did you fit the Shorai for weight reduction racing etc ?
LED Autolamps had a dealer in Melbourne so was cheaper shipping, the headlight comes in a blister pack of 2 so my Ducati Scrambler is going to get a touch of love also and rear brake light.
My Ducati has headlight on all time as I'm sure that's a legal requirement in Aus, the Nort needs turning on so I thought that a 570lm effective side/driving lamp up front would be of great benefit. Break light is also far brighter than the original. I find the OEM indicators on the 961 though are already MASSIVE and bright.

Would the H4 headlight fit into a Commando headlight shell with the Lucas switch and indicators mounted on top?
Thanks. It looks that the overall length is the same as an H4 with the connector.
Chaps,
Today I fitted the Paul Goff LED headlight bulb along with new shallower lens unit and LED pilot bulb, that I bought a little while back.
There are currently 4 bikes in t’ shed: ‘68 Bonnie, ‘74 Cdo, ‘16 BMW and ‘18 961...
All 4 bikes are parked up pointing at the wall. When I’d done I switched them all on and guess what, the old bikes now have the best headlamps, by a considerebale margin too.
I fitted Goff LED stop and tail bulbs as well, as many have said before, the tail is now as bright as the stop used to be!
Brighter lights with a fraction of the current draw, what’s not to like?!
Chuffed!
