Last couple weeks the snakes are on the move, some in turns I have to straighten up to cross or slip out, some I swing wide to let live, if not a copper tint to scales or a cottony white head of poisonous ones I aim for. This is plain old Black Snake that eat poisonous snakes but locals and even me have seen mating with water moccasains so some babies have venom. One of my first phase 3 handling lesions happened when wife caught a big one in duck coup and told to road trip it, but sac got left in rain so softened - so with sac in lap I forgotaboutit in the lush green spring time drawing my attention off path - to feel sharp hard grip on my L wrist, to look down for subconscious to react before conscious brain to first try a fling off failure to then take both hand off to pull it off to toss off successfully slicing me open - then instantly fighting a tank slapper 35 mph straight into a fence a few bike lenghts ahead on marbles and arrow headss but somehow did.
This is worth a close up look via taging the URL and +, I've never seen one this traced out to form semi coils, It was not bothered by me or car, only left when I petted it. I do try to get them to strike at me to test my reflexes and I usually win. Most flys beat me but not all.
