Pictures of your Norton 961

Hey PR, sorry, can’t really give you a comparison. I purchased the carbon wheels and swapped from the Dunlop Sportsmax to the Michelin Power RS almost straight away. Don’t remember the Dunlops really.

The Michelins though have been excellent. I’m not an overly quick rider but like to carry a bit of corner speed and lean angle - hard parts occasionally in play. The Michelins Power RS have been flawless. They have never given me a moments cause not to reach for max lean angle. I would caveat that by saying that I don’t ride the Norton in the wet and temps where I live are usually quite high. I am just about to swap boots from Power RS to its successor Road 5’s, so expecting more of the same if not better!

Rode out to Hunstanton on Sunday Look what I found.

I hope you parked yours in the lineup for a while? ;)

I thought Norton were in communication with the owners clubs? If I had any say in it I would be sending bikes and sales reps with brochures to all of these summer meetings. They really need to get the word out that they are back in business. Many Nortonista do not use social media etc.

Not this time. I think they would have taken exception to me parking Germany’s finest next to them

Mind you, us Norton owners have a lot to thank Germany for:
Joe Siefert
Ollie Thiel
Dr. Robert Hentschel ( hopefully)

I took my heavily cafe racer-ised BMW R9T along to the NOC cafe racer day once.

There was no negative reaction at all… it was just completely ignored…!
I don't think that I could describe mine as anything like cafe racer unfortunately I am sure yours would have fitted in and I wouldn't have ignored you :)
