I have read the reviews and am pretty keen to get one. I have a mk111 boyer now. I would like ask if the dip in the advance curve at idle would cure the following. On my 850 she shakes really bad between off idle (1200 rpm) and 2000 rpm before the isolastics smooth out the vibes. If the idle is playing up and idling a little to high, say just over 1000 rpm, the engine seems flighty and wants to fly right into the 1200 and above vibration zone. Set the idle back down to 800 rpm & sometimes she will stall.
So will the Altair control the engine better so it hangs around 900~1000 rpm, without the engine wanting to race off to 1200 rpm?
Just keen to know if this will aid this?
Oh, what coils should be used, are traditional style coils okay, I was going to renew theses with items from Pazon as well.
