I think I know some of the answers. But to make it more fun I want to ask ya'll too. Some will be easier than others. No prizes awarded. :D

As with any basketcase there will be unmarked parts. Some easier than others to figure out. I'll post each picture separately so you can just quote and reply with your guess.

Pretty sure these are stainless steel screws/bolts for the switch clusters (I've even photoed them on what I think is the appropriate page).

I might be wrong. I also didn't measure the thread pitch, they are guesses until I get out the thread gauge.

I don't know about these. When I see two of anything on a Commando I assume front forks.

This is a tough one. I think they could be part of the forks but have no idea. As a hint most of the fork internals are missing or have new parts, but are in no way complete.

One more, but this is a little different. There is a bolt illustrated in the parts book (72). There's no part number. And I don't think there are two bolts on the top of the engine mount, just one. Yes? To the left of #29 is another unmarked bolt. What is this?

Yes you are probably right, but the original short screws were 5/8" 10-24 tpi (UNC) according to the "Stainless" list (part 06-2488).
If those "short" screws are indeed 3/4" U/H (under head), then the "long" screws would appear to be somewhat longer than 1-1/4" U/H-nearer 2.0" which is the length listed for 06-2241?

2nd. photo:
Lower yoke pinch bolt 06-1911 x2, [44] on the page, 3/8-24 tpi (UNF) but 1-1/4" U/H according to the Stainless list? I also measured one and it was 1-1/4".

Don't know...still thinking?

4th. photo:

Three bolts secure the rear of the crankcase to the cradle.

Two (06-3212): http://www.nortonmotors.de/ANIL/Norton% ... 10&Part=29 [29] (so the unmarked bolt is another [29])

And one (06-3211): http://www.nortonmotors.de/ANIL/Norton% ... 10&Part=32 [32]

One more. This one is extra tricky as I don't know if these are actually Norton parts. Hopefully the ruler give a good sense of size. I can get actuals upon request. Again, I want to say fork internals, but don't know.

Neither the flat head screws nor the spacers are fork parts. Since you have Norvil rearsets and plates, could they be a part of that? Frame to plate spacers?

I don't recognize them as any standard Norton part. Of course my memory isn't what it used to be.

I'm pretty sure if it was part of the rearsets they would have been packaged with them. The rearset mounting will be another question coming up in a while. Stay tuned. :D

And who's is?
