Thanks for the nice feedback guys,
One of the challenges for us small specialty shops is keeping stock levels. So many things that we need to have on the shelf and sometimes we don't react fast enough and if relying on outside vendors and machine shops, simply run out of the parts and suffer the time lag to get them back in stock. Sometimes I have to back order parts and my customers are always understanding and ok with waiting and that is really great. Freddies head steady bolts taking so long to finally complete was a bit of a stretch but it's nice to get late surprise Christmas gifts even in the middle of summer .......
The head steady bolts are made by one of my new vendors that I was fortunate to start doing business with after I bought out Rocky Point Cycle's Commando inventory. Bill had located this shop as they are specializing in making stainless parts. They really do nice work and I am ramping up to have them make more hardware. I also like the idea of supporting these types of shops rather than the mass producers. You get personalized service instead of some order taker that has no idea what they are offering
Again, I appreciate the support
Matt
