cNw #101 Norton Commando 850

For those folks that like a bit of soft porn/glamour in their garages or workshops, Andover Norton have just released their 2026 calendar. :)

This years features models of many different ages including some old ‘wrinklies’ that have scrubbed up well and remain quite glamorous.

4 very glamorous models all wearing similar outfits.

Now I know I might be a tad biased here but for those that really want to get their rocks off I’m afraid you’ll have to wait until October when a well ‘ripped’ chap with a sparkling smile is featured 🤣🤣🤣

Most here will probably be as happy as I am, that no youngsters or heaven forbid, newborns are featured. The latter have emerged distinctly pallid, grey even and as any newborn delivered as such, could do with (by the marketing department) a firm smack to encourage some colour🤣🤣🤣

Sadly, one entrant seems to have got her suspenders (brake cable) in a bit of a twist which may result in an embarrassing episode on the catwalk (road) 🤣🤣🤣

Too much inside information. Could you elaborate? Is "she" related to Karl the director?
I thought "suspenders" hinted at something quite different! 😁

Not quite sure what you’re asking, I attempted to continue the ‘modelling’ them of my previous post.
The point I was making here is the routing of the rear brake cable, this on the MD’s own bike😱

Sad that you allowed the broom straw to interfere with the front wheel and brake area of the bike....I would think that at this point your promotion of Arnie on an
International basis requires a full time traveling professional photographer, as well as a writer to document your travels for a Norton book....."Arnie and Me"......

Back in the day I prepped cars and car related parts by all of the major car companies for TV ads, print ads, and in house videos. I always looked through the
cameras before the shots were taken.....

Actually it was intentional. That shot is uncropped from my Leica Q @ f1.7 to isolate the bike and the grasses add a small amount of foreground to create a 3D effect. It was a toss up between that one and this which I preferred but my wife disagreed. I entered this one for the NOC calendar which didn’t get picked, maybe due to horizon positioning; she was correct 😉

Cafe,
I think the prettiest thing on that m/c is that it gets ridden!

It’s been a hellava year that’s for sure. Clocked up over 7.5k miles, won 3 awards 1 in France and now featured in the AN calendar. Not a van or trailer to be seen as I have neither anyway 🤣🤣🤣

I’m already plotting for next year which may include the INOC Rally in Pescara, Italy; the thought of riding through the Alps and then part of the Mila Milia, Adriatic Coast road and camped up right on the beach front for 4 days sounds like heaven. That’ll chalk 2.5k miles alone and will be a totally new experience for me.
