I have a standard Lockheed caliper and a sleeved M/C with an OEM cast iron front disc. What's the most effective disc brake pucks for this setup? What I've been using have good wear characteristics but stop poorly in the rain.

Thanks.

I have just installed new pads in my 75 and I chose Ferodo Platinum. They were about the most expensive, like $35/set, but I didn't want to skimp. They seem to be good,
but I haven't been in the rain with them yet. I found some for as little as $14/set, but I went for the better ones.

I ended up with the Ferodo Platinum as well... still it's just an organic pad. It's OK, I guess. I really am still searching for a SINTERED "HH" pad for better bite... somebody, please

SBS pads work well but on the flipside wear the disks severely, a good compromise that dont wear the disks so bad is EBC.

not wishing to hijack your thread, but what is considered the best pad material for stainless discs , for road use.
