Mine unscrewed out on a ride and I believe it's NLA. including the small leaf spring .The OEM throttle has a friction adjuster, as long as your still has that fitted then the screw is on the underside. I adjust mine so it closes over 10 secs once the hand is off. Makes it much easier to hold a steady throttle and not much harder to open up.
Me too. Use the twin cable feature ; friction screw as per KommandoI have on of these on my Commando;
It has a friction screw to hold it open if required. It is a dual cable gadget but I use a single throttle cable. And it goes from closed to fully open in 1/4 turn.
I keep the friction off when riding, I like the throttle to snap shut if I let go of it. But I do find it useful for keeping the throttle open a little bit so that the engine runs at a fast idle after a cold start.Me too. Use the twin cable feature ; friction screw as per Kommando![]()

Or even the Yves Alton modificationI sure was hoping that by now some genius would have came up with a real solution to this.
Maybe Madass could come up with something.

Looks like a flasher version of the fix my dad told me! ...and they're not shipping OS!I use one of these simple grip helpers on my bikes and it works surprising well. Easy to install and adjust desired position for easy throttle holding.

He also has fuel injectionI vaguely recall Jim Comstock had a proper cruise control on his Norton. Or did I make that up?
Spray starch is a solution which comes in a can - good for stiff wrists.I sure was hoping that by now some genius would have came up with a real solution to this.
