This is the body work and paint that I am settled on. I finished polishing all the brite work…hats off to Matt…it is alot of work !
I could only hope to get close to his level of finish. I did the gearbox fluid..enine oil and filter
New plugs and wires fresh peg and shifter rubber. I am going over the tank with clay,compound and finish with a nice carnuba wax. I will have no problem getting this bike dirty so long as it starts off clean. I have thoroughly
Enjoyed the rebonding and it now looks and runs like it was meant to be

Congrats dude. A stunner. Some zip ties around the top of those fork gaters and you’re good to go!

An old solution for no zip-ties is to wrap some electrical tape around the fork tubes about an 1/4-1/2” below the lower clamp enough to build it up enough to slide the boots over and hold them in place. I have done this quite a few times with good results.

I’ve never heard of that one Mike. I’ll put that in my ‘experience pot’ for future use !
 
I first used zip ties on the garters, worked great but I just ended up buying the right clips from RGM SS look a lot better and they didn't cost that much when I got some other parts.
