On a day of remembrance where you and I live, you have initiated a World War 3 thread based on what is essentially a localised conflict.

Wars will always be a feature of human existence, trying to deny that allows the Stalins, Hitlers and Putins to exist and flourish before rightfully being extinguished. The cycle then repeats, the human genome has not progressed from that of a caveman.

Humanity has progressed over the years as technology has improved but clone a caveman's genes today and bring them up in todays society and they would exhibit the same behaviour as a modern human. So cavemen had local wars and we have wars but on a much grander scale as technology has developed.

So accept we are unchanged, we will not and cannot change until the next major species appears and act accordingly. Which is to have a strong defence and never give in to bullies. Thinking it can be any different leads to appeasement and then the bully striking out at weakness.

It will never end a visous circle until we get rid of old leaders who are controled by military generals and secret departments in the Government's who controls what normal people are told and leaders who send their people to fight without knowing W T F it's all about, fight or get shot attitude and do as your told.
Maybe we need to change direction and give younger leaders a chance instead of having war mongers in power, can't get any worst than it is now, old leaders are set in their ways and controlled by others with their old ways.

Why would the leaders of nations want to avoid war? War provides them with cover for their nefarious acts, shifting the people's attention to something else, gives them an excuse to tax and spend, someone to blame for the nation's ills of their own making, and keep the economy from stagnation.

Moreover, when nations are indebted beyond what they can repay, only two courses of action are available:
1) inflate to infinity
2) engage in war

Russia thought it be a walk over but the longer it goes on the more desperate Putin will become and when that happens he will use more devastating weapons before his own people turn on him and the more body bags that come home it will sink in to the people he has stuffed up big time and the cost to his own country.

Yes well ..I would be more concerned about the enemy from "within"
Sudan almost appears to be another Ukraine 2.0.
American evacuation and civil unrest.
Biolab exposure.
World Health Organization panicking.
If there is one thing that is certain it is this:
This news about dangerous biolabs in foreign countries are pouring in over and over again.
In my opinion, they all need to be dismantled.
