Swapped a blown "daylight" bulb in my headlight for an LED version of that 2 watt little bulb. Then I built a crude first version spring rate tester for my fork spring collection out of a bathroom scale, a metal yard stick, a U channel I had laying around, and a 10 mm diameter rod. It seemed like it works OK...
