The bike is finally complete. It's small light and fast as F&*k. Adding 2 teeth to the front sprocket and that 34VM it flat out rip's and with the shorter pipes she sounds like an old harley.

Looks good man! I like how you fit the disc brake. The footpeg mounts are nice. The drum on the back is tight! Someday I'm gonna build me a rigid springer

I think it's fantasic. You kept the iso's, what are the vibes like? It seems that a lot of the vibrations any bike's going to have are going to have to do with a particular frame design. My hunch would be that it could be more smooth than stock. Keeping the stock components was cool.

The only criticism I have is that you ought to source a longer brake hose that can follow the fork leg up, then make a nice bend to the master cylinder. It seems to distract my eye from the otherwise clean look of the forks. maybe have it done in black sheathed hose also, as the bike has a dark theme...

Anything hot inside the lump, or is it stock?

Thanks gents. The motor is still a mystery as I'm not gonna open it up until it blows up. The frame was made in 1972 by two guys that rented a small corner of Denver Dan, Mondo and Freddy Hernandez shop. Freddy deraked the frame for me and I hooked up wtih him through Kutty Noteboom from the HippyKillers. The bike rides straight and hands free if you dare. The vib's are almost unnoticable. The head steady was turned around as the back bone of the frame was lowered when it was deraked. The brake cable was the only thing long enough and not too long at the indy shop. I plan on putting a black one on when I have the spare loot. The tail light and head light are cheapo's from fleabay, the front end is a DNA -2 springer, the bars and seat mount are Biltwell parts and the seat is from B.Y.O.B from fleabay. The only thing left that bother's me is the left foot peg mount. The plate is not welded to the frame yet as I learned yesterday it can be spot powdered. So I'm gonna contact the PC place next week to confirm this and get the plate welded in and powdered like the rest of the frame. I added 2 teeth to the front sprocket and that little Mikuni carb make the little beast pull to the moon. If you still have the dual Amal's and are tired of fooling with them, I highly recommend the 34VM Mikuni kit. I turn on the choke and she starts first kick cold and warm. The plugs show a slight hint of brown on the porcelin.
