As you recall my belt drive woes the one thing I should have done was to put the double adjuster on at the beginning. We'll I just scored a new RGM adjuster off eBay at a very fair price. Which means I might be able to go back to the belt drive although I need to see if Steve has an extra front pulley.

RGM Double Adjuster

Looks like Steve is headed to Thailand for the winter so no opportunity to get a new front pulley. My best option is to get a guide made.

The seller has another one available on eBay. It's $75 which is more than from RGM ($56) but will ship from the US for free. Shipping from RGM seems to be a little expensive so I think it's a wash.

Why not just use two stock adjusters and a longer bolt. Or am I missing something?
Yep you could do that but you'd have to buy another adjuster and drill the thread out for clearance
Then buy or make a longer bolt

But it would be trickier to tighten properly when adjusting the primary chain.

And I think that with a bigger sprocket, you’d have clearance issues.

Just how big is this "sprocket" of which you speak?

I could be wrong, I’m only running a 21 tooth but it looks like it’d be close to me, with something like a 23 wouldn‘t it be an issue ?

Actually now you show that I think mine was pretty close too
I may have ground some clearance, can't remember
Cheers

Well, we had already ascertained that a 21t clears…

The question is, would a 23t ?

The adjusters are threaded so you'd need to drill out one side for the bolt to slip through. So doable, I think. But the RGM kit is also stainless so there that too.

Just playing Devil's advocate and leg pulling. On a previous thread on the price of drilled discs, when I quoted RGMs discs the suggestion from the OP was that at the low price he had to be buying from Norvil

Nigel,
Do you use a double adjuster on your m/c with the CNW e-start? I was thinking about location.
Thanks,
Mike
Yes I do Mike. Not saying it’s necessary or that you should do it though!

As I posted in another thread a while ago, having the second adjuster face forwards means that with a cNw e start it is impossible to adjust.

I faced mine rearwards and removed some of the inner cover sprocket shield to allow access. It’s still tight, but with some ground down wrench’s it’s double.
