Received back my magneto from Doug at Doug’s cycle barn. Mag body had been bead blasted and the rest carefully cleaned. How the cam ring had been shimmed and held in place was a joy to behold! Installed in the bike and appears to be running well! Weather permitting looking forward to a test ride.

Before I sent the mag to Doug there was a variance of 8 degrees between the left and right cylinders. Delighted to say it is now comfortably 2 degrees or less. Probably closer to 1 degree. Which is well within stated tolerances.

Very pleased. Doug clearly knows what he is doing, offers excellent service and he would be my first choice for any similar work!
