All good points and in the eye of the beholder of course. I think the system has been very well thought out. Maybe not as aesthetically pleasing for higher bar variants but for the more aggressive stance of the Cafe Racer perhaps?

I like the way the exhaust terminates at the visual junction of the rear shock and chain guard and that the silencer is routed parallel to the rear frame tube - can end arching slightly like the tail unit. These shapes are pleasing to the eye. Sounds pretty sweet too.

Not going to run out and buy them because they are likely very expensive, but I really like to see any firm spending money to produce aftermarket parts for the 961.
If you look at the bends where the mega meets the Y pipe , I notice that the chain rub may have been solved also .

Hey Gj, which would get me more HP for dollar spent? You guys went for the Delta to get your bikes running correctly from memory, not for more power? My bike starts on the button, ticks over at the correct RPM, runs pretty damn well and pulls strongly. Won’t be swapping a well functioning CPU for a slightly better one - I know that has to be the kiss of death!

No doubt the Delta has worked for you guys but has it proven on a dyno to produce more power? Pardon if I missed a previous thread.

For my bike - the throttle body modification made the bike run well, consistently.

But the Delta made it perform.

I think you are running an OMEX on a 2015 Bike is this right ? So , this was an upgrade from the SC Typhoon in your case. The main reason I went with the Delta 400 was mainly for a backup ECU. BUT , there is no doubt that having the ability to connect and tune is big. Yes , there was a noticeable step up in power from the typhoon but I would never tell somebody to spend 650 pounds if their bike is running good as is. My older 2014 bike was a direct swap Typhoon to Delta and there is a person on the forum who has just replaced their Euro 4 OMEX with a Delta 400 and sold the OMEX to another. This is the guy to ask . You can also go the Dyno Jet PCV route for about a third the cost + tuning ? In USA the DynoJet PCV kit is $350 USD , a Delta 400 was 650 Pounds ~ $820 USD already tuned kinda .

That’s right Tony, the upgrade to OMEX with open pipe map in conjunction with the opening up of the exhaust transformed my machine - in my first year of ownership from memory. I wouldn’t consider upgrading ECU at the moment regardless of any power gains. I am not as tech savvy as some of you guys and would fear screwing up a bike that is running pretty well. Who knows about the future. My CR is a keeper and I’ve no doubt will go through several further iterations in years to come. Next of which I guess will be the high bar conversion.

I think your body will be happier with the sport bars.
 
My order is in, approx 10 week delivery time. Choice of polished or prepared for paint, I'm going for polished. Stephen Spencer maybe if you order one we could get a saving on combined delivery.
I've just ordered one but I'm in WA so no combined delivery there.
 
10 weeks lead time is just about up. SO looking forward to a completion date. Ordered my pump gaskets in advance.
