PS the bikeseatfactory guy said they can make seat with any color accent piping...as you see I went with black but thought seriously about dark red

IMHO that seat looks a LOT better now, it looks very good.

+1 on inverting the turn signals next.

Talking Norton here swoosh not Goldwing....If they're see this you've planted the seed.

started blinker inversion project today did mockup they look much better upside down of course had to redo some wiring routing etc. will try to finish in a cuppla days and post pic oh...….seat mfg. wanted pic of bike for website and I sent them the one I posted here had to explain the flag on back of garage door..hehe
PS I need a seat knob as right hand side one stripped out...….anyone have a spare for sale at a reasonable rate?

There are two styles of knobs. One type is knurled with cross hatching the other has straight teeth cut like a gear. Fwiw, this is a good spot for a helicoil.

3/8 UNF thread from memory, they strip easily so helicoiling is recommended.

+1 on the helicoil.
I think the straight knurl is later bikes, crosshatch early 750s, plus the early type seem a little thicker.
Cheapy pattern ones are a good copy of the early type and shine up well. Also come with that nasty little roll-pin that I'm always reluctant to use (until I've got round to helicoiling the thing) ;)

Mine are missing... along with my mind.

There are stainless seat nuts that shine up very pretty.

Someone has linked bad tooth care to the dreaded dementia disease , my dentist recommends continual care as we age .... Thought he was just being greedy ,then saw this new info, the man is a Saint !

I'm going to posit that if you are stripping your knobs you're tightening them down too much because you're worried they will go flying down the road because you didn't put the pins in...

So put the damn pins in. If the seat loosens it's not like it will fall off with you sitting in the seat.

Full disclosure: I have 4 pins on order.

Ive been meaning to get some pins for five years now....
