Yes,
The breather will not clear the crosstube on the early frame design. It only fits those frames that have the centerstand pivoted on the engine cradle -not on the crosstube. Jim

I recently installed the bolt on version of this on a Commando and it really runs well. Has anyone found that re jetting is required? I changed up to 107 needle jets with good results. This should be an essential unit, to be installed before pouring money and effort into performance mods.

It doesn't add that much power.
