They were from RGM motorcycles in the UK , bought them about two and half years ago had to wait a while because they were out of stock at the time but are very good quality and are standing up well but just a quiet for mepantah_good said:Which ones were those?baz said:When I fitted new stainless pea shooters to my commando it was notably quieter , they are still straight through maybe have more sound deadening built in??

I got a pair of Epco BMW "Sport" mufflers for my R90S a couple years ago, and I'm very happy with them. Good quality and sound. I guess I should check with Epco to see if I can get that healthy "sport" sound in their Norton version. Is anyone on here using Epco's on their Commando and how are they?

I have one almost new one , we could make a pair! Was the pair that was on ebay for long while last year from Cycle Warehouse?Beach said:Original 1974 mufflers were a lot quieter...They had a smaller exit...Cycle Warehouse in Butler PA had an original set that were new takeoffs...Don't know if they still have them but would be worth trying..I actually have one nice muffler but the other rusted near the inlet..
