An absolutely stunning restoration. It is great to see it saved from rusting away. Someone will be a very blessed Norton owner. I think you all need to find a Vivian Neeves look alike Norton girl to draw the winning ticket dressed like the 70's.
Oh No did I get the gears going?

Hey, Greg, pick out an appropriate AGM battery from the J&P catalog and I'll order it for drop-shipping to you.

e-mail me the catalog #.

Thanks Paul, You have been a big help right on through the project. We have some people looking for a Roadster grab rail in their stock. We are willing to trade a new Interstate one for a new Roadster this is the last piece.

So, when is the raffle, or how will the bike be transferred for the charity?

Our plans are as follows:
The Bike will be Auctioned at the Mid-America auction in January 2010 see here:
http://www.midamericaauctions.com/motor ... t=Upcoming
A local Michigan builder of bikes (Gene M.) takes all his stuff there each year to sell and has offered to transport it there on our behalf as his donation. With years of experience running bikes though this auction it is a big gift for sure.
We looked a eBay and ticket raffles but this is the way we planned our happy ending. Still working on the details. More later.

That's excellent, Greg. I'm happy & proud to be part of it; thanx for being th "go to" guy!

HOLY GUACAMOLE!

...or should I say "Blue Cheese" ????

Nice. Very nice indeed!

The last of the parts are on, the first 100 miles are being put on. 25 to go than a head re-torque than off to Vagas to the auction.

I'd love to win an 850, it could keep my 750 company in the garage during the long winter.
If all went well between the two of them ,I may find a lil ol 500 cc also in the garage in the spring
Best success in the auction in 2010. The bike shows really well

Well The Michigan Norton Owners and the Metro Triumph Riders share the Xmas Party every year and it was the final showing of the bike before it heads out to the auction and well we were partying and all and well as the evening when on .......
Jori was the Top cash raiser for the bike she sold "ride more drive less" pins to many folks. For this she got some nice trophy's for her work and then there were pictures with the trophy's and then we got her on the bike for a "Nory girl" shot any way a good party..
We all have a lot to be proud of, only a week or so of worry left and it will all be over.

The bike just sold for 8,500 More than an eBay sale I think and a fair price for the new owner. They got a good deal and we get to hand over a nice check to Fowler Center. Thanks to everyone for listening and helping.
