her is a few of the tools in my cave

Love the tools in your cave, hate the seat on your beautiful bike :!:

I have a stock seat also but, and that is a very sore but with the stock one. the seat on it in the picture is only on for the comfort of that sore but as I do any where from 150 to 650 mile day rides. ( a $66.00 E bay snag ) also the BOSS likes it better than the stock on her backside and if she is not happy weeelll we know where that go's LOL
OH and thanks for the comments on the rest of the bike and tool's :D

That lathe has me envious, seats change in five minutes so no worry. That bike looks a lot better than the way we had to ride them back when I was a kid.

Bill, 150 to 650 mile per day rides and your bike still looks like that? I'm never posting another pic of my old girl again!!! Now to parade my ignorance; there is what looks to be a furnace on the outside of the building in a photo named jetwasher.jpg. What is it?

All of these castles are just awesome, they all look well used and loved.

That would be just as the jpg name says, a jetwasher! Nice! They are giant dish washers for engine parts.

I like the tall white chest beside the snap-on roller cabinet. Every shop should have one of those for climatic control of the essentials on those long nights!

yea when I go for a ride I do a couple of miles  . the bike has 25,000 miles from the frame up rebuild. I wont call it a restoration because of the mods to make reliable. As rennie said it is a washing machine. It uses 185 degree soap & water with a 2HP pump to clean parts. think industrial dish washer

I live in both, as I play snow bird. I have a campground in TN that is open April through October switchbackcreek.com .It is about 4 hours from the squid capitol of the US. I don't think much of the dragon as we have some great roads at my part without the trouble they have. How does 265 turns in 20 miles without the squids sound :D also do search on the snake aka US421

The only trouble with the tall white chest is I have to share it with the boss so I can't convert it to dispense a cool refreshing beverage through the door

Snowbird :!: Aside from looking in your freezer just to give you the excuse, there is no reason to go south

I haven't ridden or driven on many roads in Tn, but you are right, many many roads with switchbacks, just going past Deals Gap on route 28 through the Great Smokey Mountains and then on the Little River Road (I had to go back to Oak Ridge) gave me a small sample, a (not so) hidden treasure.

Here is a few shots of the Byrd Cage while I was getting ready to build the wheels.

66 Superhawk I built last winter. I actually built a Dream at the same time. Here is a before and after of each.

byrdman: fishing rods & camping stuff - THAT is a well-rounded garage/shop!

So many folks that used to own those old Hondas comment on my vintage Goldwings. I bet if you ride one of those everybody whose cousin had one has something to say about it.

Somewhat like all those people you meet who used to own Nortons. They swear fourth gear wheelies and 150mph top end.
