They are indeed 305's - and they are peppy little guys, at least the cafe racer that is. The short wheel base makes it a blast in the twisties. The Dream is not quiet as quick on its feet its a cool ride.

Your right, allot of people do come up and tell stories about bikes of their past every time its parked. But I love to hear motorcycle stories - almost as much as a good fishing story Paul!

I do have several interests and hobbies and the garage is about the only place I'm allowed to keep most of it - the love of motorcycle's is just a disease and the only known antedote is more...

I have actually made myself stop buying bikes. At least for now. I reckon I should put some time into getting the ones I have running right. Since installing the rebuilt Amals my Norton is fouling one plug and I have to see why. Luckily my Hondas and my Chang are always happy to go but my Norton likes to make me earn my ride.
You just reminded me of when I was looking at a Seely over at the San Mateo show and somebody told us how fast his Commando used to be. Apparently everybody else's were way faster than mine, I must have gotten a duff one.

I do know that bikes are a lot like people, The older they get the faster they were. Or at least me anyways. Ride safe and fast, Chuck.

How come you have a lathe, mill & offhand grinder, with no swarf around. Have you got a cleaning lady?

Thats why I have not shown mine, rubbish and junk all over the place. I clean it up sort of and then into mess before I finish the cleaning job.
