Anyone had this before?
Gearbox is really sweet while riding and neutral is easy enough to get when rolling to a stop or even stationary, however I have noticed this wee annoyance recently. With the box in neutral it jumps into 1st the instant the engine is switched off! The gearbox has been apart around 1000 miles ago to replace the layshaft bearing as I was starting to get paranoid about all the threads on here about it going wrong, So no other parts were replaced.
I'm thinking it's something to do with the tension coming off the drive train but without taking it all apart and checking everything I'm trying to cut to the chase and see if anyone has had this in the past and can tell me where to focus my attention initially.
Cheers
Mac.
