jobs to do

Hi folks
Getting stuck into isolastic refurb,so in between jobs noticed oil leaking from the fork leg so whipped the forks out pulled out the seals and guess what, some numpty has put new seals in upside down,thats a good start,so one or two other little jobs to do oh my bike is a Roadster but has a interstate tank so I'm having trouble getting the battery cover off I'm assuming it's because it's a longer tank and the bracket that clips the side panel on won't clear the underside of the tank,any tips on rectifying that,apart from that I'm very pleased with it and looking forward to meeting some of you regulars.

I've got both tanks for my Roadster and getting the battery cover off with the Interstate tank is a challenge. I put a split ring on the D-Zus fastener and it helps some. I recently bought a nice set of Interstate side covers and will have them painted to match my tank color to solve this problem. Good luck.

Hi thanks for that will probably go down the same route as it could be a right pain if you want to get at the battery or tool kit in a hurry.will now keep an eye out for a pair of covers.
