1972 750 Hi-Rider

Am just starting to disassemble the extended front forks on my bike. The fork stanchions that were installed in this bike were actually 10" over stock. As I said in a previous post, talk about changing steering geometry.

Considering that you could choose between a Combat or Hi-Rider in ‘72, I think it’s fair to suggest that the Hi-Rider buyer didn’t place performance or handling at the top of their priority list.

“Being Groovy” was probably number 1 on the list !
Being groovy had it's benefits.
