Hi, just saying a quick hello to you all from a new member on here. I've recently bought A 2014 Commando Sport 961 after owning several other British bikes over the years, including modern Triumphs (sorry for swearing!). I'm sure I'll be posting a few questions & comments on here as I notch up some decent mileage on my bike.

You'll find many like minded 961 fans here, with advise and help.
Fill us in; where are you located, what color is you bike, mileage, etc.
 
Looks likes Deano is from Salisbury UK ( Stuart 2015,s turf) but current on his hols state side, any ol how “ hi ya “ & we love pics please
 
I am indeed from Salisbury, UK. I'm not sure why I've got a US flag displayed as I thought I had set my location correctly in my personal settings, doh!

Anyway, the bike is British racing green & gold (ordered new from the factory in this colour) & currently has approximately 3500 miles on it. It's all standard apart from the louder long pipes. I'll post up a couple of pics in due course....
 
I think the accessnorton site determines your current location from the IP address you are currently using to connect to the site.

It's due to the ISP you are using which belongs to a certain 'Corporation' (no doubt you know which) although the actual IP tracking is giving the current location as Switzerland.
 
Pictures of this magificent british machine would be welcome. Any reflectors on front forks may earn you some backlash from FE but Clive will lurve your long pipes. Don't mention tank pads by the way, sore point.

Thanks for the welcome & the replies all. And yes, it does appear that the location flag added to the profile avatar is related to the ISP address from where you're logged in, which is a bit weird & misleading! Anyway, on another note, is there an easy way to attach photos onto these treads, as I am struggling to find it if there is.? Or am I missing something obvious!? Thanks in advance...

Either subscribe to VIP membership or tag a link to a photo sharing site or instagram

I wouldn’t call it backlash, more just helping people improve their lives. Anyway, Deano isn’t far from me and I’m thinking of setting up a mobile reflector removal service.

Long pipes are another matter entirely...
